Tigaki is the nearest beach to the city of Kos, lying 11 kms North of the town. It is one of the most beautiful and most popular beaches of the island of Kos. It is a long white sandy beach extending over 10 kms with crystalline shallow waters. The beauty of the scenery is increased by the abundance of greenery and flowers. It has fine white sand and crystalline emerald waters. Sun beds and umbrellas are available as well as various facilities and accommodations because Kardamena is the second largest touristy resort of the island of Kos.
